This page is intended as a guide for new PhD and EngD students joining the Optics and Photonics group.
Prior to your first day
| Ensure registration at The University of Nottingham has been completed successfully. | |||||||||||
| Collect student card from registration. | |||||||||||
| Ensure you can access your University emails, on-line guides are available to assist with setting up university email on mobile devices. | |||||||||||
| Arrange to meet with supervisors. | |||||||||||
| Ask Supervisor to check if PC workstation has been ordered, new PhD and EngD students are entitled to a new machine, intended to last the length of their programme. | |||||||||||
Using the portal service, check that you have entered your bank account details, this allows your Studentship to be paid each month.
